A California senior citizen says she is being forced out of her home after her landlord claimed he’s moving his daughter in the home once she graduates from law school.
According to CBS Los Angeles, Thelma Smith,102, received an eviction notice and is forced to relocate out of her Ladera Heights home by the end of June. Now, her friends and family are working together to help her find a place to live since Smith lives alone. She lost her husband and a few relatives over the years and some of her remaining relatives live on the East Coast.
During an interview with Smith’s landlord, he was asked if he would really move out a 102-year-old woman from her home. In response to the question, he says, “Would you take care of your child?”.

“The only thing that I can say is that I’ve tried to live a good life I’ve never wanted to harm anybody,”
