Cardi B has always been outspoken and now the rapper is shutting down the recent publicity stunt rumors!
Cardi B and Offset’s breakup shook the world after the 26-year-old took to Instagram to publicly break the news last week. Her husband, Offset, commented on her post a short time after writing “y’all won” which gained a lot of attention as well. The Migos member tweeted “F*CK YALL I MISS CARDI” just days after. Well, it seems he is not giving up to try and win Cardi back because he surprised her on stage with roses during her Rolling Loud set this weekend. Many believed his appearance was all apart of a stunt but Cardi set the record straight Monday.
A video of her publicist, Patience Foster, surfaced on social media of her directing Offset to the stage.
Here is backstage footage of Cardi B’s publicist Patience Foster leading Offset to the stage. Like I said, this whole "break up" is an orchestrated publicity stunt. Cardi heard the rumors surrounding Foster and posted on her Instagram Stories in her defense.
“Fan or not, you talk about my publicist/friend you can eat a d**k PERIOD,” Cardi wrote in a message posted to her Instagram Stories, before going live.
She also went on Instagram Live to share her anger.
“I don’t like people talking sh*t about my publicist, that’s like my sister,” she said.
“Same way I would ride for my little sister, I’d ride for anyone that’s around me. Especially at this point in life where everyone wants to use me. I cherish my day ones and love them and it’s always gonna be like that.”
On the flip side, Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif is claiming Cardi’s management informed them of a “guest star” during the New York natives set.
“We were told she was going to have a guest star during her set, that it was going to be [Offset’s rap trio] Migos, but we didn’t know anything about that stunt,” he said n a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
“We’re getting blamed as if we conspired to do this, and I just want to make it clear that we did not.”
“Cardi’s management was in on it, it had nothing to do with the festival,” the statement continued.
“The artist is in full control of the stage and they determine who gets on and off.”
