Witnesses shared with NBC Bay Area that the shooting happened at the Halloween party that was being held at an Airbnb rental in Orinda, which is about 15 miles east of San Francisco. Orinda police chief David Cook told the East Bay Time that they arrived at the party that had over 100 people in attendance. The event was reportedly listed as the “AirBNB mansion party” on social media, according to CBS.

A dispatcher at the sheriff’s office said they would release more information later this morning, but did not provide a time.
This latest shooting occurred just two days after three people were killed and nine others injured at a Halloween party in Long Beach, Calif., 25 miles south of Los Angeles.

This also follows reports of a 7-year-old ticker treater who was shot on Chicago last night. She is said to be in critical condition.
