4 Students Shot At Block Party Near Clark Atlanta University
Late Tuesday night, a gunman opened fire into a crowd of 200 people outside a library near Clark Atlanta University. At least four college students were wounded and a dozen more injured.
According to reports, this incident happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. All four injured females who were taken to the hospital were said to be in stable condition after the gunfire. None of their injuries were life-threatening.
Atlanta police said and argument broke out between two groups and someone opened fire. In a video shared to the internet shows shows dozens of students running frantically after the gunshots broke out.
“It appears there were two separate groups that were targeting each other, and these people were just caught in the crossfire,” Atlanta police Capt. William Ricker told WSB-TV.
As of right now the suspect has not been detained. Police said cameras posted around the library may have recorded the shooting.
