A Harvard Dean Is Fired For Becoming Harvey Weinstein’s Lawyer

Harvard wants no parts of the Harvey Weinstein case as they fire one of their deans who made history on campus!

Ronald S. Sullivan Jr has been fired from Harvard after agreeing to be Harvey Weinstein’s Lawyer. Harvard was being pressured by students to fire Sullivan and they did just that!

Both Sullivan and his wife have been longtime lectures at the school with Sullivan being a faculty dean of Harvard University’s Winthrop House, a residential college catering to undergraduate students since 2009.

Not only was he an important figure on the campus, but he made history being the first African-American faculty dean in the school’s history.

The former dean joined Weinstein’ steam back in January despite the bad look it left in the eyes of his students and fellow faculty members.

According to the NY Times, Sullivan’s career choice made him “no longer qualified to serve in a role of support and mentorship to students” given the allegations brought against Weinstein.

Harvey Weinstein is due in court soon, with his trial commencing in June at a Manhattan court. He is to answer rape and sexual assault charges amongst other sex-related crimes.
