A “Living Single” Reboot Is Reportedly In The Works
The cast of “Living Single” has been teasing a possible reboot since 2017, but Erika Alexander, better know as Maxine Shaw, might’ve confirmed the good news via Instagram. In the video, Alexander points to her computer and asks if “Anybody knows how to reboot this?” as she winks.
Sure, other members of the cast have cryptically hinted at a possible reunion but this time it might actually happen. Kim Coles sat down with “ET” and spilled the beans about a project dropping next month that she described as “reboot-ish”.
“[Queen Latifah’s] been talking, listen what [I’d] love to say is that I have been neither contacted nor contracted. However, something is happening next month that I cannot talk about and that’s all I’m gonna say,” she said. “That’s all I can say. The six of us together; a reboot-ish. That’s all I can say.”
Scared to get your hopes up? Don’t be because Coles and Alexander are only confirming details from Queen Latifah’s appearance on “Watch What Happens Live!” with Andy Cohen in 2017.
“We’re actually working on it,” she said. “It’s not there yet. But, hopefully, we can get it happening.”
Seems like this reunion is a few years in the making and we will all be tuning in. Hopefully, a “Girlfriends” reboot is next!
