A$AP Rocky Set To Headline Concert in Sweden, Four Months After Release From Jail

Following A$AP Rocky’s terrible experience in Europe that got him locked up for three weeks, the rapper is set to head back to Sweden for work!

According to Variety, Rocky will be returning to Sweden to headline Ericsson Globe on Dec. 11. This comes just under four months after getting into a physical altercation with a fan. LiveNation announced the concert would take place in Stockholm, the very same city where the incident occurred. It was noted that tickets for the event will be available for purchase starting November 12. A portion of the proceeds from ticket and merchandise sales will be donated to the Swedish Network of Refugee Support Groups (FARR), a non-profit organization that aids asylum seekers, Newsweek reports.

While A$AP hasn’t publicly spoken out on his latest move, the events promotion and venue company said in a statement on Friday that,

“After tremendous support from the Swedish fans, he returns to Stockholm for a long-awaited gig for all his supporters.”

Rocky was arrested and jailed following a confrontation with a man named 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari. A$AP Rocky, members from his team were held by authorities for several weeks until arguments in their assault trial wrapped up Aug. 2. A$AP was released and Jafari was given 12,500 Swedish krona ($1,300), considerably less than he had been seeking.
