An active shooter injured two other victims at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Honolulu, Hawaii.
According to Hawaii News Now, the shipyard is currently on lockdown after an active shooter fired multiple gunshots, injuring two civilians. Witnesses said the gunman started shooting at Drydock 2 around 2:30 p.m. and personnel received emergency text messages alerting everyone on the base to take cover. One witness said he was sitting at his desk when he heard loud popping noises. They added that the gunman ended his own life but the witness’s account has not been confirmed by officials.
“I kind of recognize that as gunshots.I looked out in time to see the shooter, who I assume was a sailor because he was in uniform … shoot himself.”

The shooting comes three days before the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Habor during World War II on December 7, 1941.
