Desipte the disaster that Adidas faced releasing their fist collaboration with AriZona in New York, they are back with a second collaboration.
Adidas and AriZona are back at it again with a sneaker release, but this time they are doing things a little different.
If you recall, back in July, the NYPD shut down an Adidas pop-up ship after they were trying to sell their first AriZona collection for just $1 with a purchase of one of their drinks. The crowd got a little rowdy and things didn’t turn out well.
However, if you were expecting this second collaboration to cost only$1, you have another thing coming because their new collection features 10 shoes in total. The prices range from $35 for a pair of slides and $99 for a pair of sneakers.
The Continental Vulc sneaker designs represent different flavors of Arizona’s teas including Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey, Lemon, Mucho Mango, and Watermelon. As for how each flavor will be represented on each shoe, branding can be found on the tongue and heel tabs of the shoes, and they come in special-edition packaging.
As for the slides, they take inspiration from the same flavors with details inspired by the product throughout the sandals, with a collaborative label on the sock liner.
The collection is said to be releasing on September first with no popup locations being released.
