Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos Accuses ‘National Enquirer’ Of Extortion Over Nude Photos
Amazon CEO and billionaire Jeff Bezos is accusing the National Enquirer of extorting him over some d*** pics!
Bezos claims that they threatened to publish the personal photos of him if he did not stop an investigation into how the paper obtained other private photos and texts of him and his girlfriend Sanchez!
However, the national enquirer is denying the allegations, adding it has been “in good faith negotiations to resolve all matters” with Bezos related to his extramarital affair.
Medium.com reports that Bezos alludes to “extortion and blackmail,” publishing numerous emails that he claims were exchanged between his and their attorneys.
“I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse,” wrote Bezos. “Or at least that’s what the top people at the National Enquirer thought. I’m glad they thought that, because it emboldened them to put it all in writing.”
The National Enquirer then released a statement Friday morning stating that the publishing company “believes fervently that it acted lawfully in the reporting of the story of Mr. Bezos.”
“Nonetheless, in light of the nature of the allegations published by Mr. Bezos, the Board has convened and determined that it should promptly and thoroughly investigate the claims. Upon completion of that investigation, the Board will take whatever appropriate action is necessary.”
The paper initially reported intimate texts between Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, which led the Amazon CEO to order a team of private investigators to uncover how the paper had received the private messages.
