Ariana Grande Not Attending Grammys After Disagreements With Producers

Well, it looks like Ariana Grande will be sitting out for the Grammys this year. According to a report by Variety, the “Thank U, Next” singer is refusing to attend the big music event after having a disagreement with her team over which songs she would perform.

It was said the Grande, who’s been featured on billboards promoting the show all over Los Angeles, not only won’t be performing at the show, but she will not attend at all, according to sources close to the situation.

Apparently, Grande felt “insulted” after producers initially refused to allow her to perform “7 Rings,” which is the latest single from her forthcoming album “Thank U, Next,” set to arrive Friday— two days before the Grammys. Her team wanted “7 Rings” be part of a medley, but Grande pulled out after producers insisted that the second song be of their choosing, an insider tells Variety.

Grande who is is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance (for “God Is a Woman”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (for 2018’s “Sweetener”) has not commented on these latest reports, but she has been vocal on twitter and may just address it soon.
