Backstreet Boys Announce New Album ‘DNA’ & Accompanying 2019 World Tour
As they released a new single earlier this year, the Backstreet Boys also teased new projects for a comeback this year, and they’re back to remind us they haven’t forgotten us.
Additionally, Friday morning (Nov. 9) the boys (Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, A.J. McLean and Kevin Richardson) announced a new world is en route in support of their tenth studio album, DNA, due January 25, 2019.
While the boys gear up to embark on their biggest arena tour in 18 years, group member Kevin shared his excitement, stating, “We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”
Plus, Howie recently explained during the last moments of their successful Las Vegas residency, “When this group started 26 years ago—and through all the highs and lows of our career—we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group. These next set of dates are going to be a party. Then it’s time for us to visit our fans all over the world.”
Also, Brian says, “The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do. We’re living the next chapter that hasn’t been told yet, and that’s exciting.”
While tickets go on sale for the tour November 14, the album pre-order is now available. Learn more on the tour here.
