Bag With Unknown Remains Found Amid Maleah Davis Search
Police say they have discovered a black bag with bone and blood remains amid the search for four-year-old Maleah Davis.
ABC 13 reports that Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton said that one of their road crews in Fulton, Arkansas, discovered the bag with a foul smelling odor. Fulton is 14 miles southwest of Hope.
As of now, it has not been confirmed if the remains belong to Maleah. Police are currently sending officers to the area where the remains were recovered.
As we reported, police started searching for the Maleah after her stepfather allegedly told a community activist that the 4-year-old’s body was left at the first Hope exit coming from Texarkana.
Activist Quanell X said that Vence apparently revealed to him that Maleah had died from an accidental death. He is reported to have said that he dumped her body in Arkansas.
“He said that he pulled over in Arkansas, got out of the car, walked off the side of the road and dumped her body off the side of the road,” Quanell X said
