Beto O’Rourke Drops Out Of Presidential Race

Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke has officially dropped out of the 2020 race to the White House!

Breaking news for the supporters of presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke as he has officially announced that he is withdrawing his name from the 2020 ballot.

TMZ reports that O’Rourke dropped out due to a struggle to regain the support of his constituents after a disappointing loss to senator Ted Cruz.

According to the New York Times, O’Rourke planned to announce his withdrawal from the race in Iowa on Friday evening and follow up with an email message to his supporters. They obtained a draft of his email which shared his continuous support of issues like guns and climate change but shared that his campaign lacked “the means to move forward successfully.”

Currently, he has no plans on rerunning for Senate or endorsing any other presidential hopeful.

“My service to the country will not be as a candidate or as the nominee.”
