Beyoncé In Talks With Disney To Create More Movies
Beyoncé continues to make money moves after her success in Disney’s most recent “Lion King” movie that made $968 million (R13.7 billion) worldwide in two weeks.
According to The Sun, Disney has had talks with the 37-year-old star to work on multiple movies “under the Disney umbrella”.
A source reportedly told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column that,
“Beyoncé’s deal with Disney for ‘The Lion King’ was one of the biggest it has done to date. Now they want to expand it by giving her free reign to create her own movies under the Disney umbrella.”
The potential deal could bring in millions for the singer who already has an entertainment empire called Parkwood.
“She is producing projects with Parkwood Entertainment but Disney bosses would like her to do the same for them in a partnership that would make her millions. The conversations are ongoing but it’s an exciting proposition,” the source added.
