Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s NJ Concert Almost Ruined After Frightening Tornado Watch Alert

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run II Tour in New Jersey was almost a no-go after an emergency tornado watch alert was issued out.

Officials told concertgoers Thursday night in East Rutherford that they had to get out of their seats to seek shelter inside the MetLife Stadium because of bad weather in the area.

A tornado warning was also issued by the National Weather Service for parts of Queens, the Bronx and Long Island around 10:20 p.m., but was canceled about 25 minutes later after the massive storm passed through.

Not only were fans worried about their safety, but more importantly, missing out on seeing Queen Bey. Thankfully, officials later said Beyonce and Jay-Z would still take the stage.

Beyoncé eventually came out and snatched all of her fan’s wigs off— as usual. The weather was pretty good for the remainder of the show and fans were ultimately satisfied.
