Beyonce is not here for the lawsuits as she’s reportedly not planning to hand over texts involved in an ongoing trademark dispute!
It’s being reported that Beyonce has no plans on handing over texts between her, Jay-Z and her mother Tina Knowles in regards to an ongoing trademark dispute.
Veronica Morales, the owner of a wedding planner company, has requested a “list of documents and communications” from Bey showing that she planned to trademark their oldest daughters name, Blue Ivy.
The Blast, who was able to obtain court documents says that while Bey and her team have not handed over any form of documentation, they have asked for a protective order to be put in place. This will stop Morales from leaking any confidential information if the personal documents are released.
This battle has been going on since 2017 when Bey first filed for the trademark. Morales who’s wedding company is called Blue Ivy named the business well before Bey’s daughter was born.
Beyonce’s legal team once reported that Morales tried to sell the couple her business for $10 million which she later denied.
As there is more information about this battle, we will keep you updated!
