The nominations for the 2020 Golden Globes are in and some of our favorites are up to secure some of the big awards!

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Monday morning that stars like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, J.Lo and Cynthia Erivo are just some of many on the 2020 nominees list.

Queen Bey is up for co-writing the song “Spirit” from “The Lion King,” where she voiced the character Nala, making this the fourth Golden Globe nomination of her career. She shares the nomination with co-writers Labrinth and Ilya Salmanzadeh. Swift is nominated for her third Globe with “Beautiful Ghosts” from “Cats,” a song that she co-wrote with Andrew Lloyd Webber. Jennifer Lopez is competing for best performance by an actress in a supporting role in any motion picture all thanks to her role in the film “Hustlers.”

The talented Cynthia Erivo scored an acting nomination for her role as Harriet Tubman in the film. Erivo shares her music nomination with co-writer Joshuah Brian Campbell. Now, If she scores this win it would get her closer to EGOT status since she’s already won an Emmy, Grammy and Tony for her work on Broadway’s “The Color Purple,” according to The Daily Herald.

This year marks the 77th anniversary of the Golden Globes! The big ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 5, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, and will air on NBC at 8 p.m. Eastern. Ricky Gervais will host.
