‘Black Panther: The Album’ Scores No. 1 Spot On Billboard 200

In addition to the box office hit’s whopping $201.8 million weekend opening, the film’s official soundtrack, ‘Black Panther: The Album,‘ also found major success debuting at number one on Billboard‘s 200 chart.

Additionally, the Kendrick Lamar and Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith-curated and produced album is the second soundtrack to reach No. 1 status on this chart, following ‘The Greatest Showman.

Furthermore, speaking on the album upon release K. Dot explains,

“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is amazing, from its cast to its director. The magnitude of this film showcases a great marriage of art and culture. I’m truly honored to contribute my knowledge of producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvel’s vision.”
