The Detroit Pistons star Blake Griffin is being sued for palimony by his former girlfriend, Brynn Cameron.
TMZ Sports reports that, Cameron’s lawsuit states Griffin called off their wedding and left her after “cruelly embarrassing his family with his public fawning over Kendall Jenner.” Jenner and Griffin have been publicly spotted multiple times, however, neither of them have confirmed that they are an item yet.
Griffin and Cameron have two children together and were in a relationship on and off for eight years.
Cameron’s lawsuit says Griffin repeatedly promised to support her after convincing her to leave her job in sports marketing and an interior design business.
“Griffin himself, however, knows very well what breaching promises is all about. After all, Griffin had no problem trading Brynn Cameron, his former fiancee, and the mother of his 2 children, for reality television star Kendall Jenner,” the documents state.
“While Griffin is continuing to earn millions from his NBA and endorsement deals, Cameron and their children are homeless and cash-strapped,” the suit states. “In Griffin’s absence, Cameron’s brother [Jordan, a former NFL tight end] has had to provide her and the children with financial support,” it added.
Griffin signed a five-year contract extension worth $171.2 million with the Los Angeles Clippers last July. He was traded to the Pistons on Jan. 29. The 28-year-old is averaging 22.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game this season.
