Blood Found In Maleah Davis’ Stepfather’s Apartment
Reports are coming in that Houston police found blood at Darion Vence’s apartment that is linked to missing 4-year-old Maleah Davis.
ABC News reports that police found blood in the hallway leading to Vence’s bathroom. They also found it on surfaces inside the bathroom. A chemical agent was also used and it reacted to the presence of blood.
Police reportedly used canine officers, both dogs reacted to Vence’s car in the parking lot, suggesting that they sensed human decomposition in the car.
As we reported, Vence was taken into custody on Saturday where he was charged with “tampering with evidence, namely a corpse.” A judge set his bond at $1 million.
However, it has not yet been confirmed if Maleah has died. The arrest was made after surveillance footage showed Vence leaving his apartment while holding a full laundry basket that had a black trash bag inside. His vehicle was later recovered containing that same laundry basket.
Maleah was last seen alive on surveillance footage on April 30.
