Body Falls From Sky And Lands Next To Sunbather In Garden
A sunbather in London got the shock of his life after a dead body landed inches away from him.
Yahoo news reports that John Baldock was casually sunbathing in his backyard when a frozen body hit the ground next to him and created a crater in his garden. He said he was lying very close to the body.
Neighbors said that he was left in ‘complete shock’ after the incident, which left the walls and floor of the garden covered in blood.
Police believe that the body belongs to a male who fell from the landing gear of a Kenya Airways flight as it prepared to land at Heathrow Airport. He is reported to be a stowaway.
“I heard a ‘whomp’ – I went upstairs to look out of a window. At first, I thought it was a tramp asleep in the garden,” said a neighbour. “He had all of his clothes on and everything. I had a closer look and saw there was blood all over the walls of the garden. His head was not in a good way. I realised immediately that he had fallen. So I went outside and it was just then the neighbour came out and he was very shaken. He had been sunbathing and he landed one meter away from him.”
Police are currently investigating the incident.
We’re working to establish the ID of a man believed to have fallen from the landing gear compartment of an aeroplane. We were called on Sunday afternoon to an address in #Clapham after the body was discovered in a garden https://t.co/MaXOeHNxka pic.twitter.com/ivO8ScKZJV
