A seven-year-old boy has been given the side eye from his community after he started selling hot cocoa to help President Trump pay for his border wall.
According to Fox News, Benton Stevens decided to sell hot cocoa after he was inspired by watching the State Of The Union earlier this month and his parents, Shane and Jennifer, are members of the Republican National Convention. The couple says Benton has been influenced by the news and conservations about President Trump and his politics.
Benton caught attention over the weekend when he set up the hot cocoa stand at a Steiner Ranch strip mall and said that a stranger called him “little Hitler” when they noticed his sign claimed that “Proceeds Help Trump Build The Wall.”
The seven-year-old says this is not the first time he has been ridiculed for supporting President Trump. He said three women who wore pink hats mocked him for wearing his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
Benton plans to send the proceeds to the White House or meet the President in person so he can hand over the cash.
