Ameer Vann is out of the group.
14-member musical collective BROCKHAMPTON has officially kicked one of its founding members out of the group amid sexual misconduct allegations — 22-year-old Ameer Vann.
While the group released an open letter addressing their cancelling the remaining dates of their current US tour, they confirmed that “Ameer is no longer in [the band],” following the reports against him.
Additionally, the self-styled US boy band told Twitter: “We want to sincerely apologize to the victims affected by Ameer’s actions. We were lied to, and we’re sorry for not speaking up sooner. We do not tolerate abuse of any kind.”
Also, they continued:
“This is not a solution to their suffering, but we hope this is a step in the right direction. We are going to cancel the remaining dates of our current US tour to go home and regroup.”
