Cal State University Northridge students are demanding authorities look into a possible notice of a mass shooting that has been circulating on social media.
Students in Northridge California are taking to Instagram to get the notice out about two different written threats of a mass shooting.
“Mass shooting In Sierra Hall 12/12/18” followed with a swastika logo.
Another message on a bathroom wall read
“Die N****s and Jews.”
In a statement released to the surrounding community and students, the school is aware of the threat and says that they have seen the same language in the past.
Students have taken to Instagram tagging various news outlets as well as voicing that they have no plans on going to campus until there is a resolve.
As of now, there have been 307 mass shootings in the US. So authorities are asking that anyone with tips come forward to prevent any this from happening.
Take a look at one Instagram post about the messages below.

Reposting due to the unfortunate circumstances that have been occurring here @csun_edu. Alongside the two attacks on female students last week, anti-semitic graffiti was also found in the bathroom stalls of the third floor of Sierra Hall (Social Sciences Building /Psychology floor), and again a few short hours ago, including a shooting threat. . . These are modern-day threats in our modern-day society. Making light of them won’t make them go away, but implementing the right strategies to handle things could help. . . Stay safe everyone, everywhere. Please spread the word in order to ensure that this matter is handled effectively.
