Comedian And Co-Creator Of ‘Rel’ Kevin Barnett Passes Away At 32
Comedian and writer Kevin Barnett has sadly passed away at just 32-years-old.
Barnett was very talented and co-created Fox’s comedy series Rel, it originally premiered in September, alongside Lil Rel Howery and Josh Rabinowitz.
Fox Entertainment released a statement following his passing,
“Our hearts are broken, as are those of everyone at ‘Rel,’ at the news of Kevin Barnett’s passing. He was an incredibly funny, wildly talented man who had so much more to do and so many more stories to tell. We send our thoughts and prayers to his friends and family during this difficult time.”
According to Deadline, Barnett suddenly passed away while on vacation in Mexico and the cause of death is currently unknown. His last post on social media is of him walking through a street in Mexico.
UTA, who represents Kevin also confirmed the sad news on Twitter,
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and client Kevin Barnett. He was an incredible talent and a wonderful person. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We will miss him.”
