Cosmetologist Robbed After Flaunting Money On Social Media

Police arrested five suspects from Jacksonville, Florida after they robbed a cosmetologist two weeks ago after he posted his riches on social media.

According to News4Jax, an Oakleaf cosmetologist was tied up and held at gunpoint during a home invasion approximately two weeks ago by two women and three men. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the cosmetologist’s frequent posting of his luxury goods on social media may have been a factor in the robbery:

“The warning for the citizens of Clay County and the citizens of the viewing audience is this: Don’t put too much of your information out there for the public to see if you don’t want to become the victim of somebody who wants to take advantage of an opportunity.”

The three male suspects reportedly stole over $140,000 after they tied up the victim with cellphone charging cords and sprayed pepper spray in his eyes.
