A young couple was found dead inside of a hotel room in New York City. They left a note and a cash tip for their housemaid prior to their death.
Police reported that the 33-year-old Queens man and his 30-year-old girlfriend from Brooklyn were found inside of their room at the Yotel Hotel around 7 p.m. Thursday. Officers also found a note taped to the door that left a simple request for the housemaid along with multiple twenty dollar bills.
“Don’t look behind the curtain. We’re dead. This is for you,”
However, the woman ignored the note and found the couple lying face-up on their bed with a large plastic bag covering their heads. Two plastic tubes were lodged into the bag and connected to a pair of canisters containing nitrous oxide.

Other items found in the room was a book titled “Suicide And Attempted Suicide: Methods and Consequences” by Geo Stone along with two large envelopes containing their wills. Medical examiners confirmed that the couple was dead upon their arrival at the 18th-floor hotel room.
A neighbor of the woman said she was married and recently moved to another neighborhood.
