Couple Who Died In Fiji Told Relatives They Were “Throwing Up For 8 Hours”

More details have emerged about a Texas couple who died of a mysterious illness during their vacation in Fiji.

According to Yahoo! News, David, and Michelle Paul were keeping their relatives updated about their mysterious ailment before their sudden deaths. Michelle told her parents that David and herself were throwing up for hours after their arrival at Fiji on May 22. She mentioned that David was dealing with diarrhea and numbness in her hands.

Hours after visiting a local clinic, Michelle texted her mother again and said the treatments did not work:

“We just got back from the clinic. They gave us fluids and anti-nausea drip. They gave us electrolyte packets and anti-nausea pills. We still don’t feel 100%. Going to rest in our room.”

Michelle,35, died on May 25 and David,37, died two days later.
