The NBA is in the middle of making all types of team trades, and their latest one affects the Lakers in a major way!
NBA Insider and expert on all things trade right now Adrian Wojnarowski has shared that Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins is headed to LA.
Wojnarowski took to his Twitter to break the news that Cousins would agree to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers for one year. This comes after Anthony Davis also signed with the purple and gold team.
Cousins who averaged a total of 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds during the regular season with the Warriors did sit outfor parts of the season with an Achilles injury. He did, however, return to play in the finals which of course would make that his last time with Steph Curry and the Golden State.
The Warriors, on the other hand, are not only losing Cousins, but they have lost Kevin Durant who is heading to Brooklyn.
Los Angeles has also welcomed Kawhi Leonard who will be going head to head with the Lakers as he signs a deal with the Clippers.
