Demi Lovato is standing behind Bebe Rexha after she had to call out designers who were body shaming her for the Grammys!
On Monday, Bebe Rexha who is nominated for her first Grammy had to call out some designers for not wanting to dress her.
“So I finally get nominated at the Grammys and it’s like the coolest thing ever and a lot of times artists will go and talk to designers and they’ll make them custom dresses to walk the red carpet. So I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I’m too big.”
From that statement, fellow singer Demi Lovato who is known to promote body positivity posted a comment under her Instagram video saying;
“F—ing preach!!! Love this and you for speaking your mind and using your voice!!!”
Demi often takes to her social media accounts to share her personal thoughts on body image especially with it being a huge topic of conversation amongst celebrities.
She once took to Twitter in 2017 saying
“Sometimes when I’m having bad body image issue days, I remind myself that I’d rather live in freedom from my eating disorder than worry about what people think about my body. I am more than a number and a jean size.”
We did report on Tuesday that Rexah had offer from designer Michael Costello.
