Former NBA player Dennis Rodman is reportedly heading to Singapore for the summit between President Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un.
Rodman took to Twitter on Friday to announce the big news alongside a photo of him wearing sunglasses and a pink feather boa while standing with the two world leaders.
“I’ll give whatever support is needed to my friends, @realDonald Trump and Marshall [sic] Kim Jong Un.”
Rodman added that he’s “honored” to call Trump “a friend.”
“He’s one of the best negotiators of all time and I’m looking forward to him adding to his historic success at the Singapore Summit.”
The former Chicago Bulls star has made previous trips to North Korea that were paid for by his cannabis cryptocurrency Potcoin.
According to previous reports, South Korean President Moon Jae-in discussed the “little difficulties” between North Korea and the United States.
“Kim’s main concern is that he needs to be able to have trust that the U.S. will surely ensure regime guarantee after they completely denuclearize,” Moon told reporters at the Blue House in a press conference broadcast live Sunday morning. The timing is crucial at this juncture and “it is very important that we defuse little difficulties surrounding the U.S-North Korea summit,” Moon said.
