Disney’s Live Action ‘Aladdin’ To Pull $112M+ During Memorial Day Weekend Opening
Deadline reports that Disney‘s live action film Aladdin is expected to pull in over $112 million during its four-day Memorial Day weekend opening.
Additionally, the Guy Ritchie-directed movie, starring Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott and more, looks to become the company’s second-best Memorial Weekend opening and fifth-best overall.
While original estimates landed around $89.4 million over three days, across the entire four days, the reports estimate that it’ll push past the $100 million mark, joining Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End; which opened in 2007 with $139.8 million.
Also, during this holiday weekend, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is moving strong at No. 2, looking to rake in $30.1 million; while Avengers: Endgame‘s four-day total reached $21.9 million.
