Doctors Find Tiny Bees Living In Woman’s Eye, Feeding Off Tears

While treating a 29-year-old Taiwanese woman for severe eye pain, doctors found four tiny Sweat Bees, living under her eyelid in her tear ducts, feeding on her tears, per People’s CTS News.

Additionally, the outlet reports that this is the “world’s first” encounter and that doctors expect the woman to make a full recovery; mostly due to her avoiding excessive eye-rubbing that would’ve led to further inflammation of her cornea and/or blindness.
