Donald Trump Denies E. Jean Carrol’s Rape Allegations: She’s ‘Not My Type’
Donald Trump is denying that he raped New York lifestyle journalist E. Jean Carroll. He claims that she is “totally lying“ about the alleged attack in a New York department store and says she’s not even his “type.”
The president made those comments while speaking with The Hill. He said,
“I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened. It never happened, OK?”
As we previously reported, Carroll — the 16th woman to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct, shared that the attack allegedly happened at a Bergdorf Goodman store in Manhattan in late 1995 or early 1996, when the pair bumped into each other while shopping. The former Apprentice star and real estate magnate allegedly asked her for advice when buying lingerie for another woman and jokingly asked her to model it for him. She said while she was in the changing room, Trump lunged at her, pinned her against a wall and forced himself on her.
Trump’s response to these latest allegation are almost the same as the others: The women are lying, he doesn’t know them, they’re in it for the money and attention or, they’re just not his “type”.
Carroll has not publicly commented on Trump’s response. Until then, let us your thoughts on this in the comment box below!
