Donald Trump Wants Nobel Peace Prize For Talks With North Korea’s Kim Jong-un

It seems like President Donald Trump is on the hunt for a Nobel Peace Prize for his “successful” sit-downs with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Additionally, Trump yearns for it to the point that he’s reportedly asked Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to nominate him, this per Asian news publication The Asahi Shimbun.

Subsequent to an informal request made by the U.S. Government last fall, a source tells the publication that Abe sent in a nomination letter on Trump’s behalf; all to which Trump believes was out of gratitude for his diplomatic talks.

Furthermore, Trump previously explained that Abe felt grateful for his peace-warranting talks with Jong-un.

So, he says, “Because he had rocket ships and he had missiles flying over Japan. They had alarms going off. You know that. Now, all of a sudden they feel good. They feel safe. I did that.”
