The rapper Assassination Vacation Tour kicked off in Manchester on Sunday evening, ahead of dates across the UK and Europe to support recent album “Scorpion.” While Drake did perform his track “Don’t Matter To Me featuring a sample of Jackson’s vocals from 1983, during the US leg of the tour, the track failed to appear during last night’s show in Manchester.

Although Drake has yet to confirm why the song was dropped, it follows the airing of Leaving Neverland last week which sparked massive controversy. The documentary details disturbing allegations of sexual abuse from two men. Since the release, Jackson’s songs have been dropped from radio stations across the country, The Simpsons have dropped Michael Jackson’s episode, and a statue of Michael Jackson has been removed from Britain’s National Football Museum.

Michael is no longer with us but his family has spoken out numerous times to maintain his innocence.
