“Yikes,” that sucks.
On the heels of Kanye West‘s eighth album debut, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg and Ebro Darden had much to say in review of the new feat, including an interesting point behind the songwriting credits to one ‘Ye‘ track in particular.
Additionally, Rosenberg claimed it’s a “confirmed thing” that Drake penned the hook for Ye’s stand-out banger “Yikes;” and the most eyebrow-raising part is that the G.O.O.D. Music team “forgot” to credit the OVO head honcho for his helping hand. Literally. Hmm..interesting time, no?
In addition, Rosenberg says: “It may be the best melody on the album when you go listen to it. You’ll hear it now and go, ‘oh, that does sound really good.’ [Kanye] gets a double congratulations in my opinion. They didn’t credit [Drake]. They said they like ‘forgot.’ They left him off, he doesn’t have a writing credit.”
What makes this really interesting is the fact that Drizzy’s beef with Pusha included points on ghostwriting; now Ye seemingly follows suit..?
Also, before this note came out, Yeezy made sure to “dead” the beef between Push and Drake. What’s up Ye?
