Duane Martin Denies Tisha Campbell’s Domestic Abuse Claims
Duane Martin is denying all claims of abuse from his estranged wife Tisha Campbell.
TMZ reports that Duane Martin filed documents in court in response to Tisha’s temporary restraining order which she received last month. Duane labels all of Tisha’s claims of physical abuse “fabricated” and “false.”
As we reported, Tisha claims that Duane was physically violent towards her and even punched her in the chest with a closed fist. She claims the abuse started at the begging of their marriage in 1996.
Duane says it is ironic that Tisha made these claims just as she filed for divorce in February 2018. He believes that she’s only making these claims so that she has leverage in their upcoming custody case.
Duane adds that Tisha has filed two police reports over the last few years, however, the cases were dropped because she failed to provide any evidence.
His lawyer, Michael Goldstein states that, “Duane has attempted to remain silent on this issue out of respect for his family and, most importantly, his children’s well-being.”
Duane wants the restraining order removed and for the allegations to be shut down.
