Eddie Murphy Will Host ‘SNL’ For First Time In Over 30 Years
Eddie Murphy will be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time in 35 years.
SNL made the announcement on Monday, along with some of the other hosts that they plan on bringing on for the next season, including Woody Harrelson, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.
The Nutty professor will be hosting the December 21 season finale 35 years after he left the show in 1984. He has not been back since. He was 19 when he first appeared on “SNL” in 1980 before leaving to pursue a successful movie career.
This has definitely been a big year for Murphy, who has an upcoming Netflix film called Dolmite is my name and the sequel to the iconic Coming To America.
