El Paso Suspect’s Mother Called Police Concerned About Gun Prior To Shooting
The El Paso shooting suspect’s mother called the Allen, Texas, Police Department prior before the shooting because she was worried about her son owning an “AK” type gun.
According to Pix 11, his mom called police because she was worried about her son owning the weapon given his age, maturity level and lack of experience in handling this type of weapon.
However, his mom was transferred to a public safety officer said that based on her description, her son, 21, was legally allowed to purchase the weapon. No further action was taken once the call ended.
It is not clear if the weapon in question was used in the horrific shooting.
As we reported, Crusius shot and killed 22 people and injured more than two dozen others at an El Paso Walmart. He has been charged with capital murder and is being held without bond at the El Paso County Detention Facility. The death penalty is an option in his case.
