Evelyn Lozada Reportedly Denied Restraining Order Against Co-Star OG Chijindu
For those who have been tuned in to the latest season of “Basketball Wives” know that Evelyn Lozada and OG Chijindu haven’t been feeling each other at all. OG has labeled Evelyn a racist following an intense argument, and Evelyn believes that OG was a groupie who tried to get with her ex-husband, Chad Ocho Cinco.
In light of all their beef over the last few months, Evelyn has filed a lawsuit against OG claiming the racist labeling was completely uncalled for and is suing for defamation and infliction of emotional distress. On top of that, according to TMZ, Evelyn recently filed legal docs asking for a temporary restraining order against OG.
However, the latest updates by the news site says a judge has denied the restraining order, saying the matter is more appropriately handled through the lawsuit Evelyn already filed.
Evelyn has previously pointed out that she’s of Hispanic descent and “her 2 children are African and Hispanic descent.” In addition to that, she says she’s the chairperson of her foundation which raises money for abused women and has raised thousands of dollars for the Sauti Yeti Center for African Women. Evelyn claims “these are actions of a person that is not racist,” TMZ notes.
Now, as a result of OG calling her a racist on social media, Evelyn claims she lost several brand deal endorsements. She hasn’t released the amount that she’s suing for but clearly she wants OG to pay up for all the trouble she has caused her.
