Ezekiel Elliot Detained After Shoving Security Guard
Dallas Cowboys’ running back Ezekiel Elliott has been detained after he allegedly shoved a security guard at EDC.
TMZ obtained footage that shows the star following a woman and arguing with her.
The woman tries to walk past Elliot, however, he tries to stop her. She then says, “Stop, stop,” and he does stop.
The video then shows a moment where Elliott and the woman are speaking with event staff. It cuts and shows Elliott stumbling around before pushing a different staffer over a metal barricade.
He is then seen being handcuffed, while the woman pleads with the officer to not detain him.
“Security misconstrued and overreacted to the situation. He was cuffed as a precautionary measure. He was released with no charges. He left Vegas that night and went to his [youth football camp in Dallas] on Sunday,” his lawyer said.
Despite not officially being arrested, he could face disciplinary action from the NFL.
