Man Fatally Shot Execution-Style Following Fight Outside Bodega
A man was killed execution-style inside a Brooklyn bodega early Thursday morning after an argument took a turn for the worse.
The NY Post reports that, Khadeem Anderson, 28, was inside the Deli & Convenience store on Utica Avenue around 5 a.m. when he got into a argument with the shooter. When he tried to leave, the shooter fired at him once in the back of the head before escaping in a dark-colored sedan.
Emergency crew pronounced him dead at the scene. As of now there have been no immediate arrests and a motive for the shooting has not been made clear.
Anderson’s mother, Angeleta Lewis, showed up at the crime scene later .
“C’mon. Turn yourself in. You can’t take somebody’s life and think it’s OK,” she pleaded to the gunman.
“All [this] damn gun violence is not necessary,” she said. “You take innocent peoples’ life. Take your own life. Don’t take somebody’s child’s life.”
His mother added that her son was at a barbecue with family members before he walked into the deli to pick up something for him and his girlfriend.
