In addition to Grammys officials denying his mother entry onto the carpet, out of fear of an Immigration protest, fans are now outraged that Post Malone neglected to speak out for 21 Savage during his performance of “Rockstar;” the hit track which features the Atlanta rapper.
While he sported a black shirt that read “21SAVAGE” backstage, the Twitterverse is wondering why Posty didn’t say/wear anything in support of Savage on-stage/camera; unlike Childish Gambino‘s producer Ludwig Göransson. One user says, “You know Post Malone doesn’t give a f–k about the culture for him to rap that song and not even shoutout 21 Savage knowing what’s happening to him right now. Sigh.
Additionally, Savage’s co-manager reveals that she and her colleagues had a bigger plan to rally for 21 in asking numerous artists to perform his verse at the awards show. Kei Henderson tells Twitter, “We reached out to several artists to perform Savage’s verse and/or stand in solidarity on stage on his behalf. ”

In addition to the aforementioned reactions, another user tweeted, “Hey, @PostMalone, where was 21 Savage on that stage? You proud of taking credit just for yourself?”
