Joe updates his thoughts on 6ix9ine.
While he previously sat with Tekashi 6ix9ine and tried to warn him about the street life ahead of his multiple legal misfortunes, Fat Joe recently updated his views on the imprisoned rapper with Angie Martinez.
Subsequent to Tekashi copping a plea, the Bronx rapper tells Angie, “I thought he was a nice guy, and now he can’t be my friend, he can’t come around me ever again. Those are rules. He crossed that line. I don’t even understand if I go to the club and they play his song — I’m keepin’ it a buck. I pray for people who cross that line — when they talk to the police and they snitch, I pray for them.”
On the idea of 69 returning to the streets and making music again, he says, “I think the youth don’t care. Obviously, they don’t care, they’re playing his music in the club and all that. Me, I can’t! I’d die before you see me in a picture with Tekashi 6ix9ine. [..] Don’t do the crime, if you can’t do the time.” #Socialites, thoughts?
Additionally, Joe shares, “I’m looking at what alleges to be street guys or gangsters — allegedly, we think hustlers, drug dealers singing the guy’s lyrics in the club knowing the guy’s on the daily news talkin’ about he spilled the beans. It’s crazy to me.”
