Now, lucky for Huffman, she will only be locked away for 14 days… even after admitting to paying $15,000 to rig her daughter’s SAT scores in 2017.

In addition to that, the judge also ordered the “Desperate Housewives” actress to pay a $30k fine. She was given a one year of supervised release and 250 hours of community service.

During court she apologized for her wrongdoings and it looks like everyone was moved by her little speech, which is why they weren’t so harsh with her punishment:

“I am deeply sorry to the students, parents, colleges and universities impacted by my actions.” She continued, “I have inflicted more damage (on her daughter) than I could’ve ever imagined.” Huffman also said, “I was frightened, I was stupid and I was so wrong. I am deeply ashamed of what I have done,” TMZ quotes.

As we previously reported, there has been other parents and stars who have been charged in the big scandal. However, actress Lori Loughlin, on the other hand, chose to fight the charges instead of copping a plea deal.

But, given Felicity’s soft sentence and the Probation Dept we’re sure Loughlin won’t have much to worry about…
