Five Tennessee minors have been arrested and charged in the murder of a musician who was robbed outside of his home Thursday.
Fox News reports Kyle Yorlets,24, was shot and killed during a robbery Thursday afternoon. Police say the five suspects, aged 12 to 16, stole the Nashville musician’s wallet and demanded that he handed over his car keys. He refused to hand over his keys and one of the suspects shot him. Although Yorlets was fatally wounded, he returned back to his home and was found by one of his roommates around 3 p.m.
Yorlets was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The five suspects left behind a stolen pickup truck and police traced their path to a local Walmart in West Nashville. After their arrest, police recovered two stolen loaded 9-millimeter pistols. The minors also stole a second vehicle before arriving at the West Nashville Walmart.
