Florida Man Faked Robbery So He Wouldn’t Have To Work At Hardee’s
Police say that Florida man really didn’t want to clock into his shift at a Hardee’s restaurant, so he decided to call 911 and report that he had just been robbed.
The Huffington Post reports that 32-year-old Brian Anderson called dispatchers on Tuesday and made up a story about two gunmen robbing him and taking his necklace, money and his phone before jumping into a car and driving away.
However, once the Polk County sheriff’s deputies went to the scene, they quickly realized that a robbery did not happen.
In a Facebook post, the department wrote that Anderson confessed to making the whole thing up, adding that “on the bright side, Brian didn’t have to go to his 11 a.m. shift at the restaurant.”
He has been charged with misusing the 911 system and willingly giving false information to police. Looks like he should have just goje to work!
