It seems like Japan wants more of The Champ Floyd Mayweather Jr., this as he tells TMZ Sports that he’s got a few more exhibition fights lined up for this summer.
Additionally, Floyd explains that he received a call this week about four or five bouts planned for this year which total a whopping $80 million.
If you recall, this past New Year The Champ scored $9M for beating Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa; and this time he’s set to rack up $10M for three rounds against a former Japanese boxer, whose name he’s not entirely sure of at the moment.
While some question why he continues with the exhibition fights vs. a full 12-round pro fight, he explains that the former leads to real money with much less risk to his health. “It’s all about being smart. My faculties are very important.”
